June is OVER, but the boots never stop. (Obviously shoes never stop.) This week: overdyed Wickett & Craig veg-tan on Nicks’ new collaboration with Carl Murawski, The Iron Snail’s Chromexcel Russells, and a new pre-order from Grant Stone, not to mention a bunch of 4th of July sales.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out our previous roundups.

[Ed Note: while we never choose anything specifically because of them, some of these recommendations contain affiliate links—the price is the same for you, but Stitchdown gets a small commission if you make a purchase. It’s essential to keeping the site alive, so we really, really appreciate it.]

Nicks x Carl Murawski - The Blackwood - Overdyed English Bridle

Nicks x Carl Murawski “The Blackwood” in Overdyed English Bridle: $899 (Made to Order)

The Blackwood is nothing short of dramatic—one of Nicks most intense patterns clicked from heavyweight vegetable-tanned English bridle on the sprung-toe 11067 last. Dr. Sole half-soles and woodsman heels only add to the round, heavy look, and the shaft is cut to a full 10″. They’re serious boots, designed for serious wear. The pair above is Carl Murawski’s own, after three months of wear as a licensed electrician. The overdye seems to almost chip rather than slowly giving up its color, though another sample pair shows a more typical wear pattern. As best we can tell, this is the first time this leather is being offered anywhere.

Hiro Yanagimachi - LS1 - Dark Cognac Shell

Hiro Yanagimachi LS1 in Dark Cognac Shell Cordovan: $??? (Pre-Order)

Hiro Yanagimachi (the brand, not the iconic Japanese bespoke shoemaker) is officially 25 years old, and for the anniversary they’re offering a limited run of the LS1 sneaker in Dark Cognac shell cordovan. Lots of welted sneakers end up looking like a Frankenstein-style mash up. Executing one that doesn’t is far from easy, but given the hands behind this model it’s no surprise Hiro and team pulled it off with characteristic precision and elegance

Hiro let longtime customers get first dibs and is being pretty hush-hush about some details—we don’t even know what the price is!—but there’s a few more pairs that will be made.

To order or inquire, you’ll need to contact Hiro using the form on their website.

Briselblack - Stride Type 2 - Reverse Wax Horsebutt

Briselblack Stride ‘Type 2’ in Black Reverse Wax Horsebutt: $725

I think it’s safe to say Indonesia’s Briselblack has done it again with this one. The evolving texture between the shell-in vamps and waxed shafts, the monochrome gradient from the grey uppers to the black midsoles to the Dr. Sole half soles, all on a great last? It’s pretty hard to argue with that, and we have to admit we’re taken with these. Just look the way the logger heel follows the line of the counter, and in case that wasn’t enough, they’re handwelted too.

White's - Lady C350 Cruiser - Brown Chromexcel

White’s Lady C350 Cruiser in Brown Chromexcel: $625 (Made to Order)

There’s no question that it’s difficult to find welted women’s boots, and while you could just size down in a “men’s” boot there are often last/foot disagreements, not to mention the limited availability of smaller sizes. White’s has offered a few women’s boots on dedicated lasts in the past, primarily in their more traditional styles, but the ladies’ version of the Cruiser is a welcome addition. Built with double-row stitchdown construction and Vibram V-Bar outsoles, they’re currently offered in three shades of Chromexcel: the Brown pictured here, alongside natural and black.

Nicks - Ridgeline Zero Drop - Casual and Work Leathers

Nicks Ridgeline Zero Drop in Casual and Work Leathers: $495 (Made to Order)

There’s also a new zero-drop boot from Nicks, this time using the padded-collar Ridgeline pattern. The full range of leathers is available, as is a Vibram unit lug sole option for those who want an extra-low arch but don’t want to commit to a true zero-drop pattern. This is a good time to mention that Nicks is running a 4th of July sale through the seventh, with 15% off ready to ship boots and 10% off last call, limited run leathers.

The Iron Snail x Russell Moccasin - Premier Chukka - Burgundy Chromexcel

The Iron Snail x Russell Moccasin Premier Chukka in Burgundy Chromexcel: $750 (Pre-Order)

Safe to say The Iron Snail’s Michael Kristy is obsessed with how some of the very best garments—and boots!—came to be, from history to construction. It’s only right that for his collaboration boots come from deep in the Russell Moccasin archive. The Premier Chukka uses Russell’s pattern from the 60s, complete with a recreated box and woven label. It’s resurrected with the goal of providing a light, quick-to-lace boot suitable for everyday wear that retained the same Russell build and fit. To that end, they use the slightly narrower 77 last. Available in burgundy Chromexcel…

The Iron Snail x Russell Moccasin - Premier Chukka - Weathered Oak Roughout

The Iron Snail x Russell Moccasin Premier Chukka in Weathered Oak Roughout: $750 (Pre-Order)

…and Weathered Oak Roughout.

And check out our recent Shoecast chat with Michael Snail himself!

Franklin and Poe x Easymoc - Rambler - Black Chromexcel

Franklin & Poe x Easymoc Rambler in Black Chromexcel: $475

Philly shop Franklin & Poe’s Maine-based partnership is once again bearing fruit, this time in the form of an aggressive, all black rambler makeup. The three eyelet pattern gets some extra bulk from a Vibram Middlebury unit-lug. The uppers are clicked from black Chromexcel and everything is assembled using Easymoc’s handsewn moccasin construction.

Grant Stone - Diesel Boot - Chocolate Horsehide

Grant Stone Diesel Boot in Chocolate Washed Horsehide: $435 (Pre-Order)

Grant Stone’s latest pre-order does up their Diesel and Baroda boots in a new, washed horse front leather from Maryam. While still plenty dense, it’s a thinner, flexible cut likely to break in more kindly than heavy-duty horsebutt. The Diesel has a 360˚ flat welt and a commando outsole, with black edge finish…

Grant Stone - Baroda Boot - Chocolate Horsehide

Grant Stone Baroda Boot in Chocolate Washed Horsehide: $435 (Pre-order)

…a combination that’s shared by the high-toed Baroda.

Also don’t forget Grant Stone’s sale-on-sale 4th of July situation—up to 25% off discontinued, etc shoes and boots that are ALREADY on sale.

The Real McCoy's - Buco Narrow Engineer - Black Buttock

The Real McCoy’s Buco Narrow Engineer in Black Buttock: $1,795

A damn near exact replica of a 50’s engineer from the Real McCoy’s archive, this Narrow model has a gorgeous, slightly square toed last, pigmented horsebutt uppers, and a low block heel with just a hint of curve from the sander. A 270˚ flat welt secures the leather outsoles. Now in stock at Lost & Found, who can also special order other Real McCoy’s boots for you.

Wesco x Brooklyn Clothing - Jobmaster - British Tan Domane

Wesco x Brooklyn Clothing Jobmaster in British Tan Domane: $795

Brooklyn Clothing’s new Wesco makeup is the first time they’ve stocked the brands Jobmaster lace-to-toe pattern. Cut down from their sometimes stratospheric height, this is a manageable 6″ version on a Vibram Christy wedge sole. Keeping with those more casual details, they’re built with single row stitchdown construction, but still have structured toes and gusseted tongues in the same Domane roughout.

Engineered Garments x Tricker's - Asymetric Gibson - Champagne Suede

Engineered Garments x Tricker’s Asymetric Gibson in Champagne: $760

Engineered Garment’s collabs range from quite overt to surprisingly minimalist, and this one sits somewhere in the middle.  The asymetry in the name comes from the fact that one shoe has a straight cap-toe while the other has a wingtip, a detail that’s surprisingly catch against the broguing and waxed suede—which we’re fairly sure is Waxy Commander from C.F. Stead. If the look works with your style, the champagne color does go pretty great with the dark wedge sole and W60˚ storm welt. They’re also being offered in Navy.

Rolling Dub Trio - Casper Size Zip - Black Guidi Calf

Standard & Strange x Rolling Dub Trio Casper in Black Guidi Calf: $1,100

Guidi’s fashion-forward, object dyed boots are cool, but they’re a little outside our wheelhouse. Guidi leather though? Designed for those boots with the intent to crease, stack, and be worn hard, and then put to great use by a brand we know and like… that’s right up our alley, and the Casper is the perfect model for it. Standard & Strange just restocked them in Black…

Rolling Dub Trio - Casper - Grey Guidi Calf

Rolling Dub Trio Casper in Grey Guidi Calf: $1,100

…and Grey Guidi Calf, which is lighter with tan undertones (despite looking similar on the product pages). Both models have 360˚ flat welts and The Boots Factory soles, with leather toe inserts and toe taps. Other than that, there’s a zipper and a whole lot of leather.

Yes yes we do have a visit to Rolling Dub Trio and The Boots Factory in episode 1 of our Sole Searching: Tokyo YouTube series…

Edward Green - Pimlico - Mink Suede

Edward Green Pimlico in Mink Suede: $1,520

The Pimlico is an unlined loafer with a grain-out collar on Edward Green’s 125 last. The 125 has a wide, rounded, E-width toe but pinches in at the waist and heel. Leffot is now carrying the Mink Suede version, though a few sizes have already sold out. Constructed with 270˚flat welts, hand sewn aprons, and leather outsoles.

Tricker's - Bourton Country Shoe - Cafe Olivva Nubuck

Tricker’s Bourton Country Shoe in Cafe Olivva Nubuck: $385

Tricker’s summer sale is a reliable way to pick up some of their iconic patterns at vanishingly low prices. Like these Olivva Bourton Brogues, for less than half of their usual cost…

Tricker's - Bourton Country Shoe - Gaucho Kudu

Tricker’s Bourton Country Shoe in Gaucho Kudu: $385

…or the Gaucho Kudu version, among tons more leathers and models.

Paraboot - Theirs - Vel Muscade

Paraboot Theirs in Vel Muscade: $386

Paraboot released a tight new collection, mostly revamping established models in summery suede. Like these not-quite-boat-shoe Theirs, which are Blake-stitched in Spain on a Paraboot lug sole.

Paraboot - Nantes - Velours Suede

Paraboot Nantes in Vel Sand: $480

The Nantes loafers, part of the French-made Norwegian construction line, get the same treatment in a slightly lighter shade. Check out more of the new collection here, though there doesn’t seem to be anywhere you can see them all in one place.

Bordon - Tukano V2 8 - Black Teacore

Bordon Tukano V2 8″ in Black Teacore: $520 (Made to Order)

Intrestingly enough, the small Colombian company Bordon Boots—who will be exhibiting at our Boot Camp international footwear-and-more expo along with Russell, Nicks, and countless others on Nov 8 2025 in Chicago—also released a boot in black Wickett & Craig Teacore, making them the second company to get their hands on the new leather. Their boots are made to order and highly customizable, all the way down to the color of the thread used on the stitchdown construction. A multitude of of half sole and full sole options are available, including wedge soles and leather. The same leather is available on the shorter 6″ Tukano, the plain-toe Wanes boot, and a Chelsea boot here.

Parkhurst - Allegany - Cloudburst Kudu

Parkhurst Allegany in Cloudburst Kudu: $418

Parkhurst just introduced a new model and last, and it’s pretty major deviation from the brand’s typical almond toed silhouettes. The new 645 last is based on the Munson, with a round, sprung toe to match. It’s plenty wide in the toe box, but pulls in at the waist and heel for a snug fit. The makeups in this release were outfitted with 360˚ split welts, commando outsoles, and kudu uppers. We especially liked the Cloudburst…

Parkhurst - Allegany - Camel Kudu

Parkhurst Allegany in Camel Kudu: $418

…and Camel colorways. Other leathers, as well as new Richmond models, are available here, and a 10% off code will be listed in the site’s banner through the 4th.

Truman - Upland - Custom Configuration

Truman Upland Custom Configuration: $520 (Pre-order)

Truman is running a pre-order on their 8″ Upland boot, which mean you can get the pattern in whatever leather and last you like, and customize a handful of other details like the toe structure, sole, and cap-toe (or lack thereof). Their leather selection is especially good, ranging from Horween’s Waxed Flesh and Predator tannages, to Gallun Leather’s Teton Stag, and no shortage of others in between.

JK - Custom Superduty - Roughout

15% of Work Boots and up to 45% of Warehouse Boots at JK

JK is running a 4th of July sale of their own. The deepest discounts are on warehouse boots: ready to ship boots that have minor cosmetic issues, were returned, or more ominously “abandoned”. The sale on regular made-to-order boots isn’t quite as deep, but you’ll still save around $70 on most models.
