Father’s Day is once again upon us, and if you don’t have a card in the mail we’d humbly advance that a pair of boots might be a good way to make up for it.
If you do? We’ve still got a bunch of new releases—including David Coggins’ most recent collab with Viberg—as well as 6-8 week lead time Build Your Own boots from Nicks, White’s Semi-Annual Sale, and quite a few other sales below…
Check out our previous release roundups here.
[Ed Note: while we never choose anything specifically because of them, some of these recommendations contain affiliate links—the price is the same for you, but Stitchdown gets a small commission if you make a purchase. It’s essential to keeping the site alive, so we really, really appreciate it.]

David Coggins x Viberg Outsider IV in Mojave: $1,300
Now on it’s fourth rendition, Viberg’s collab with the most stylish man who’s ever fished for a fish (David Coggins) is back, as is the unique chukka pattern developed for the Outsider III. It’s available in two colors of C.F. Stead Janus Butt: Mojave…

David Coggins x Viberg Outsider IV in Coyote: $1,3oo
…and Coyote. Both have 360˚ split welts, and—like all versions of the Outsider so far—Lactae Hevea soles.

Grant Stone Unlined Traveler Penny in Espresso Suede: $395
The next round of core model restocks is in at Grant Stone—a very timely batch of unlined penny loafers in espresso, black…

Grant Stone Unlined Traveler Penny in Sand Suede: $395
…and sand suede, all with 360˚ flat welts and leather soles.

Alden Penny Loafer in Brown Alpine Grain: $682
Alden sits right at the edge of Lost & Found’s universe, almost too old fashioned for a fashion conscious retailer—even one still sensitive to construction and materials. All of that means Lost & Found’s Alden makeups are a very interesting attempt to spec something in line with the current cultural moment using the finite combination of lasts, patterns, and leathers that Alden has offered—with relatively few changes—for a long, long time. That doesn’t necessarily mean something drastic. This weeks’ build, for example, is a Van last penny loafer with a 360˚ flat welt and Alpine grain uppers…

Alden Wholecut Loafer in Natural Chromexcel: $682
…or take a look at their recent wholecut (also on the Van last, also with leather soles) in natural Chromexcel. Neither are shocking, but there’s definitely a story in here somewhere about the small shoe wave, renewed interest in textured materials, and spillover from our little world into the mainstream. If only someone would write that.

Paraboot Briac in Lis Vert: $345
Paraboot’s first Japanese store—in Tokyo’s Aoyama neighborhood—opened 25 years ago last week, and that means anniversary boots. In this case, those boots are a shoe: a green version of the Briac, Paraboot’s luggy, Blake-stitched boat shoe. They seem to be mostly available in Japan, but Germany’s HHV also has a few pairs.

Lightning Ship on Father’s Day Custom Boots at Nicks
Okay, so Lightning Ship (a 6-8 week lead time) isn’t quite fast enough to get your boots here in time for Father’s Day, but it is the fastest lead time Nicks offers, and it’s rarely available for an open-ended Build Your Own boot with the full range of last, leather, hardware, and finishing options. One more secret: no one will know if you aren’t actually buying these for your dad.
Nicks is also offering 15% off all of their in stock boots.
Up to 40% off for White’s Semi-Annual Sale
The very best time to pick up a pair of White’s Boots is the semi-annual sale, which—very conveniently—tends to fall right around Father’s Day (though once again, no one is checking your credentials). Most models, like this 7″ Semi-Dress in Brown Waxed Flesh, or their work “oxford” on the one and only C461 last, are 20% off which typically means you save a little over $100. That extends to the Perry moc toe and the new Chelseas as well. Cemented hiking boots are 30-40% off. The discount is automatically applied at checkout from June 16th-22nd.
About 40% off Select Models at Tricker’s
Tricker’s is still running their summer sale, with almost $300 off many models including a handful of Bourton brogues and Harvard penny loafers. The “about” in the header is there because Tricker’s likes nice round numbers, so many models are technically anywhere from 41%-46% off.

20% Off Sitewide at Rancourt
Rancourt is currently offering 20% off everything for Father’s Day—including beefrolls, boots, ranger mocs, and slippers. Discount automatically applied at checkout.

10-30% off Samples and Seconds at Crown Northampton
Every once in a while, Crown Northampton opens their stockroom with a list of ready-to-ship models that are either samples, seconds, or cancelled made to order requests—generally, a chance to save a little money and skip the wait if there’s something in your size. Every once in a while happens to be now, so have a look: there’s still a pair of shell Harlestones available, plenty more sneakers from their Hand Stitch line, a pair of Overstone low tops in white calf, and lots of others.
