In this edition, we’ll check out another collab between Viberg and Himel Bros., some more Gallun boar at Oak Street Bootmakers, a rare ready-to-wear option from Indonesian maker Renav, and more.

Viberg Autumn/Winter 2022 Drop 2

Oak Street Bootmakers Field Boot in Waxy Wild Boar: $508

Gallun’s eccentric Waxy Wild Boar also makes its return to Oak Street Bootmakers, in the form of their Field Boot…

Oak Street Bootmakers Trench Oxford in Waxy Wild Boar: $508

…and the Trench Oxford as well. Both makeups are built on the Elston last with a 270 flat welt and Vibram 700 cork soles.

Oak Street Bootmakers Trench Oxford in Color 8 Chromexcel: $498

OSB’s other new Trench Oxford is a Horween burgundy CXL makeup on the Elston last, with a 360 storm welt and comfy Vibram 2060 wedge soles.

Viberg x Himel Bros. Ammo Boot in Marine Field Roughout: $850 (Pre-Order)

Viberg and Himel Bros. pick up where they left off on their Ammo Boot collaboration, putting out another instant classic—this time with some Horween Marine Field (Natural Chromexcel) Roughout, giving this Canadian militarywear homage some prominent American DNA. This 2040-lasted boot is constructed with a 270 flat welt and raw cord soles.

Truman Boot Co. x Freenote Cloth “Elysian” Plain Toe Boot: $490

Freenote Cloth has teamed up with Truman to create three collaborations made in homage to the city of Los Angeles. The Elysian boot is made with C.F. Stead Coach Rambler and features a structured toe, 360 flat welt, and Vibram 430 half soles.

Truman Boot Co. x Freenote Cloth “Wilson” Cap Toe Boot: $530

Next, the Wilson cap toe boot comes in C.F. Stead Snuff Rambler with an unstructured toe, and is built with a 360 storm welt and Ridgeway soles.

Truman Boot Co. x Freenote Cloth “Verdugo” Derby: $410

Finally, the Verdugo derby is crafted with Horween Java Waxed Flesh, with a 360 storm welt and Truman’s proprietary commando soles.

Grant Stone Edward Boot in Black Waxy Commander: $340

We were so ga-ga over those new Field Boots last week, we failed to note that Grant Stone also released the latest iteration of their plain toe Edward boot in C.F. Stead Black Waxy Commander. Built on the Leo last, this nearly all-black boot is made with a 360 flat welt and studded rubber soles.

Renav Monkey Boot in Cuba Waxy Commander: $480

Renav’s footwear is typically made-to-order, but they’ve decided to make a full run of these monkey boots in C.F. Stead Cuba Waxy Commander. Built on the A6 last, these boots are made with a structured toe and Dr. Sole half soles.

Sagara Valiant in Black Horsebutt: $630

Fellow Indonesian bootmaker Sagara also unveiled a trio of RTW models earlier this week. To recap here: the Valiant lace-to-toe boot is made on the Morgan last in black horsebutt from Maryam, and is built with a 270 Norvegese construction and Dr. Sole half soles.
