My goodness, a release roundup without any new Vibergs? I haven’t seen one of those in ages. (Although they are still running their Friends and Family Event through today if you want to score a 15% discount, by the way. And Division Road also has a Viberg, Tricker’s, and Wesco sale happening that’s highlighted below)
This week, we’re highlighting a quartet of new offerings from Parkhurst (on which Stitchdown Premium community members get a 10% discount!, a slew of shellseas from Meermin, a beefy pair of Nicks Boots, and more.
See what you may have missed in our earlier Shoes ‘n Boots of the Week here.
[Ed Note: while we never choose anything specifically because of them, some of these recommendations contain affiliate links—the price is the same for you, but Stitchdown gets a small commission if you make a purchase. It’s essential to keeping the site alive, so we really, really appreciate it.]
Parkhurst dropped a bunch of new pairs last Friday, and they’re all lookin’ real solid! First, we’ve got a couple new Allens, one in Snuff Moose…
…and another in a Dublin colorway I’m not sure I’ve seen before, Dark Roast.
Parkhurst also has a couple new iterations of the Bidwell in their “2.0” tweak of this derby pattern. We’ve got one in this natural oil tan leather…
…and another in classic British Tan CXL.
Google informs me that Pescadero is an area not far from San Jose, CA and has beautiful beaches and a quiet rural environment. Seems to fit the vibe of these U-tip chukkas quite well. These chocolate suede chukkas are built on the Tremont last with a 360 reverse welt and Alden’s Leisure II light rubber soles.
Ealdwine returns to its “Glenwood” makeup, this time selecting yummy milkshake suede for the uppers. These plain toe boots are Barrie-lasted and built with a 360 split reverse welt and commando soles.
Meermin, back at it again with the crazy-affordable shell cordovan boots! This time around they’re serving up some waxy shell cordovan on their Chelsea pattern, made on Meermin’s Rod last with their “Ultraflex” Goodyear welt construction. The waxy shell is offered in a variety of colors, including this striking caper green.
If the waxy shell ain’t your thing, Meermin is also offering a selection of their “heritage” shell cordovan in this beautiful whiskey and a few other colors. You can find all of these limited-time MTO Chelseas here.
Serial YouTube shoe-cutter Rose Anvil has teamed up with Nicks Boots to create the “ND1,” a slightly scaled-back version of the “Indestructible Boot” Nicks made for a Rose Anvil video a while back. The uppers are predominantly Horween’s brown waxed flesh, with a couple lineman patches made from Nick’s own 1964 Brown leather. Built on the HNW last with Vibram 100 soles, these boots are ready for literally anything short of a black-tie affair. Sign up for Rose Anvil’s email list to get in early on the pre-order.
These hunky, chunky Truman boots are made on the 20 last with Horween’s mocha roughout leather and Vibram 430 soles. Great for anyone in the market for a pair of solid, no-frills brown boots.
Burly derbies are on the menu at Truman this week as well. This pair is built on Truman’s 55 last with Dainite soles.
