In this week’s roundup, we’re taking a looking at Viberg’s first Fall/Winter 25 drop, a very soft and very green trio of new boots from White’s, a sleek Brandle last now available on standard Nicks orders, and a whole lot more.

Still not satisfied? Check out the rest of our roundups here.

Viberg - Pachena Bay - Port Alpine Calf

Viberg Pachena Bay in Port Alpine Calf: $1,185 (Pre-Order)

Mainline society may have spend the last few years trying to hide their tiny shoes hems of their giant pants—fair enough—but Viberg is leaning hard into round, chunky silhouettes for this year’s fall/winter drop. The less conventional models, like these Pachena Bays, are open for pre-order, while the more standard boots/Chelseas/chukkas are available in stock.

Speaking of the Pachena Bays: from the Viberg Extralight lug sole to the 360˚ scalloped welt and the 240 last, all the dials are turned up. The uppers are clean but, with contrasting padded collars and tongues, and grained Apline calf, we definitely wouldn’t call them minimalist. Hardly our go to style, but we really this makeup. These boots are CRAZY lightweight in a way you wouldn’t expect—that big ol’ proprietary sole weights essentially nothing.

Viberg - Chelsea - Malt Apline Calf

Viberg Chelsea in Malt Alpine Calf: $1,260

Across the 21-boot drop, that Alpine grain appears in three colors: reddish-brown “Port”, “Black” (self explanatory), and this cool brown “Malt”. It plays to the Chelsea’s strengths, and the resulting boot would make a great every day beater—formal enough for most people, but not at the cost of awkwardness in casual contexts.

Viberg - Bristol - Black Alpine Calf

Viberg Bristol in Black Alpine Calf: $1,115 (Pre-Order)

In keeping with the theme so far, Viberg pulled the extra beefy not-just-a-clever-name Extralight soles from the Pachena Bay and put them on the Bristol loafer with a 360˚ scalloped welt adding even more detail. Check out the rest of the drop here.

White's - 355 Cutter - Army Green Desert Oasis Suede

White’s 355 Cutter in Army Green Desert Oasis Suede: $750

White’s has a trio of new boots in C.F. Stead’s Desert Oasis Suede, all of which come in at a 7″ height rather than the usual 6″, and use their handsewn, rolled-welt construction. The leather is desaturated enough to be aesthetically flexible and looks to be teddy bear-soft to boot. It’s available on the lace-to-toe Cutter…

White's - 355 Cruiser - Army Green Desert Oasis Suede

White’s 355 Cruiser in Army Green Desert Oasis Suede: $750

…and the derby-boot Cruiser, both with Vibram half-comp soles and logger heels.

White's - MP-Sherman - Army Green Desert Oasis Suede

White’s MP-Sherman in Army Green Desert Oasis Suede: $750

Whereas on the lower arched MP, it comes with commando half-soles and block heels.

Nicks - 1925 Last Dress Boot - Work and Casual Leathers

Nicks 1925 Last Dress Boot in Work or Casual Leathers: $684 (Made to Order)

The slimmer, almond toed 1925 last is usually reserved for Nicks higher-finish Brandle line, though it’s now being offered for the second time on their standard double-row stitchdown construction. That comes with a wide range of configuration options, including a cap-toe, a padded collar, heavy-duty lug soles and the like.

Rolling Dub Trio - Coupen Mid-Cut - Grey Guidi Calf

Rolling Dub Trio Coupen Mid-Cut Grey Guidi Calf: $820

Standard and Strange has a bunch of new Rolling Dub Trio models in stock. There’s the Grey Guidi Calf version of the Coupen Mid, with it’s pinked collar, 360˚ flat welt, and nitrile cork outsole…

Rolling Dub Trio - Coupen Low Moc - All Black Horsehide

Rolling Dub Trio Coupen Low Moc in All Black Horsehide: $660

…as well as a moc-toe version of the Coupen Low, which has a more conventional scooped-out collar. It also shares the same construction and sole stack, this time with black edge dye.

Rolling Dub Trio - Loro Side Zip - Black Horsebutt and Flame Embroidery

Rolling Dub Trio Loro Side Zip Black Horsebutt and Flame Embroidery: $1,100

Then there’s the Loro, a cowboy inspired side zip that no one seems to be able to keep in stock—including S&S. “Heritage” brands rarely opt for this level of decoration, but we’d be willing to bet a lot of people spending this much on a pair of boots want them to stand out a little but. Plus, the slightly-squared, sprung toe and a substantial logger heel is always a winning combination. There are still a few pairs left in small sizes.

Alden x Brogue - Marcello Tassel Loafer - Chocolate Suede

Alden x Brogue “Marcello” Tassel Loafer in Chocolate Suede: $692

The low vamp and chocolate suede definitely have our attention here, plus it’s always nice to see a more casual take on Alden’s tassel loafer, as good as the usual calf and cordovan pairs can be. The Marcello is built on the Aberdeen last and a 270˚ flat welt, with an unlined vamp and a lined heel—a pretty good compromise of breathability and structure. Underfoot you’ll find single leather outsoles.

Brick + Mortar Seattle x Alden - Marrowstone - Tobacco Reverse Chamois

Brick + Mortar Seattle x Alden “Marrowstone” in Tobacco Reverse Chamois: $720

Brick + Mortar’s Marrowstone has a similar concept: an unstructured take on an ostensibly formal pattern, executed in a soft, comfortable leather. This time, though, we’re working with a 360˚ split welt and a Leisure 3 rubber outsole—like the Leydon last, that sole is a configuration option that usually shows up on loafers.
